Schaffer Holz is the specialist for Austrian Softwood, for logs with a diameter of more than 40 cm. This slowly grown wood of superior quality shows annual rings. Larger dimensions can thus also be cut as center free , with vertical annual rings as in vertical grain and and semi vertical grain. This grading hardly tears, moves and shrinks and also presents higher solidity values. We also produce and sort wood exactly to the specifications of our clients' special wishes from alpine Larch, spruce and fir in unusual dimensions to individual quality criteria. We handle the timely organisation of the harvest and smooth logistics for further processing. As the market leader for timberwood products in Central Europe, we only process top quality wood at our site. We employ around 70 people and supply well-known wood processing companies around the globe. Our annual production is 100,000 qm. We supply fresh, impregnated, chamber-dried and ISPM-treated lumber.
